Here I Am! (Again...)

Hello, cyberworld! After a rocky blogging start - a few sub-par trials with other blog hosts - I am here to write about my knitting endeavors. I love to write (English degree from Texas A&M U.), and I love to knit (self-taught in 2003), so I feel like blogging about knitting will be fun for me. The only glitch that I can foresee is blog time getting in the way of knit time; don't you just seem to get sucked in to the Internet reading your Bloglines subscriptions? Well, we'll see.

I have a bazillion projects currently on the needles (that is for another post, another time) and that's how I came up with my blog title. It stems from the acronym UFO (unfinished object) and the word Euphoric, which describes the state you are in upon starting AND finishing a project. Too bad I haven't finished a project in a long time. I have serious, chronic startitis. When I am about halfway finished with something, the initial high is dwindling down and I begin to surf the Net and get ideas and salivate over OPP (Other People's Projects), and I am 100% likely to cast on for something new, repeat ad nauseum.

Hopefully my shiny new blog will help me out.

My baby is: Sleeeeping. Shhh.
